Some of my family recently moved house, so for housewarming gifts I made these personalised cusions.
I used a fat quarter for each of the initials and the back of the cushion and a nice complementing fabric for the front. I had a great time searching for fabrics that best portrayed the interests of each member of the family. I particularly like the fish fabric - it would make a great tie!!
I hand stitched the letters on and did up the cushions at the bottom with a zip. Voila!
Love Love LOVE these mushies!
Wineglass Charms - ideal for a girls night in!
Pyjama Eaters. Made for Christmas pressies using a pattern from sewfearless.com - I made mine from fleece to make them extra cuddly! Also added eyelashes to the girls’ monsters. The bit that took longest was deciding how to arrange the eyes!
Christmas gingerbread house. I made this instead of the traditional Christmas cake that no one eats. Particularly like the ice cream cones covered in apple flavour laces for trees, the coconut grass and chocolate rocks! Oh and the moment when my niece realised that the ”toy” house was edible!
